The all new Evolution Series loudspeaker takes Invisible loudspeakers into new territory with respect to sound quality. An evolution of the highly successful AIWX series loudspeakers, the Evolution Series retains the same familiar installation technique and is compatible with current backboxes and APU protection units.
The Amina® AIWX Series of Plaster-In Invisible Loudspeakers are the world’s first high performance loudspeaker that is designed to be skimmed over with 2mm of normal finishing plaster, providing a completely concealed audio solution whilst allowing designers and builders a very high quality wall or ceiling finish ready to accept a decoration of choice (paint, paper, etc). By using the principle of distributed vibrations, the AIWX Series Loudspeakers produce a sound that has exceptional clarity and room filling properties and have much in common with the way an acoustic musical instrument works. The width of the product (345mm) allows it to fit well within 400mm centred wood or metal stud-work commonly used today in walls and ceilings. However, for special cases (for example for setting in the plaster work between old wooden ceiling beams in heritage properties), the AIW3X-S200 is perfectly suited.
The Amina® LFiT Series is a totally invisible, full range, 100/70V loudspeaker system designed for use in commercial installations where high clarity sound and wide, even audio coverage is required whilst allowing the ability to create exceedingly high quality wall or ceiling finishes of all kinds. The LFiT Series was launched in 2009 to complement the existing AIWX Series of low impedance invisible loudspeakers.
The ALF40 Bass Enhancer has been designed to compliment both AIWX and LFiT Series invisible loudspeakers. It provides additional low frequency support and extention and integrates easily in audio installations by virtue of it being extremely small and able to connect in parallel with the main speakers. Its unique port design provides the necesarry acoustic filtering to blend with the main speakers and also allows adjustement to suit a variety of install locations - be it in-wall, in-ceiling or free-standing.
