2002 is a special year for
the celebrated Spanish architect Gaudi and in Barcelona his world
famous designs, created at the turn of the century, attract hundreds
of thousands of visitors every year.
CASA
House is the most important and recognisable Gaudi house in Barcelona
and is now utilised as a museum celebrating Gaudi's work as well
as for conferences, receptions and corporate functions.
In
this architecturally sensitive application, the use of standard
loudspeakers was aesthetically unnacceptable. Therefore, a series
of Amina wall mounting panels were hand painted to exactly match
the original painted walls of the house, ensuring a 'near invisible'
audio solution. The system provides both voice announcement and
calming background music during museum periods, as well as full
programme level music during functions. |
