As all three bars double as night clubs in the evening, space is a major premium. SPL levels are high, but very importantly need to remain within the Belgian regulation maximum of 96dB. To be found exceeding this limit very quickly leads to closure by the strict Belgian authorities. The panels not only give the owners a very unique talking point, but the sound level generated is perceived as being very high, but actually measures within regulations.
